Size guide- Charms and Pendants

Would you like to order a charm but don't know what size is best for you? We've put together a guide to help you choose the ideal size!
You'll be able to work out which size charm to choose by considering: the size you would like, the engraving project and the person you're making the jewellery for. See below for our advice on these three scenarios.

Check our visual to see how they compare to coins. This will make it easier for you to decide on the right size for the look you want. Comparing it with an everyday object will also give you a better idea of what it will look like when worn.

Choosing a charm to suit your personalisation

Personalised Drawing or Hand/Finger/Footprint

If your drawing is very detailed, we recommend a "medium" or "large" size, such as our 19 and 27 millimetre diameter charms.
If your drawing has few details, you can choose a smaller charm from 15 millimetres in diameter.
It's important to bear in mind the size of the charm you choose and the amount of detail in your design. If you would like to engrave a drawing of a family of four, for example, it will be more legible on a 19-millimetre charm.

Personalised Text or Text + Pictogram

For personalised text, enter a text or a name, subject to the maximum number of characters allowed. Then choose from our range of typefaces - you're sure to find one to suit your taste!
For personalised text + pictogram, you can choose to engrave a date or a name, accompanied by an illustration of your choice. The font can also be selected according to your preference.
Would you like to engrave a word or a short phrase? All charms are suitable, with the exception of the 10 mm charm, which can only be engraved with an initial.

Please note, as mentioned above, that each charm size can accommodate a maximum number of characters to ensure that it is legible once engraved. See below for the maximum number of characters for each charm size:

Personalised Illustration of your choice

We offer over a hundred illustrations created by our graphic designers and organised by theme! Our illustrations are available on our 10, 15, 19 and 27 millimetre diameter charms. They are designed and offered according to the shape and size of each charm, to ensure the best possible fit.
