Material authenticity: Certified products

Our jewellery is created using high-quality products that comply with the standards dictated by French legislation. They meet, among others, the hallmarking standard and are delivered with a certificate of authenticity. For advice on their maintenance, please visit the personalised jewellery care advice page.

.925 Rhodium-plated silver

At HappyBulle, all of our jewellery is made of 925% silver and then plated with rhodium to give it an unparalleled shine and protect it from oxidation.

The minimum .925 pure silver content of our jewellery is guaranteed by a hallmark attesting to its conformity and authenticity. For aesthetic reasons, the hallmark is located on the back of the charms, inside the pendants, or on the clasps of the chains.

All of our silver jewellery is protected by a layer of rhodium. Our jewellery is immersed in a rhodium plating bath until it has a layer of 0.3 microns deposited by electrolysis. This layer of rhodium enhances the silver by giving it a brighter shine and also protects it from chemical products and oxidation.

What is rhodium?

Rhodium is a rare, noble and precious metal from the Platinum group. It is the most expensive metal in the world, more expensive than gold! It is silvery-white in colour, very hard and non-tarnishing. Rhodium therefore has very good resistance to wear and tear, a very high reflectivity and does not tarnish over time.

18k Gold Plating

Our gold-plated jewellery is created exclusively from 750‰ gold, which is 18 karat gold plating, and is guaranteed to be nickel and cadmium-free. To prevent oxidation, they are coated with a final layer of 980‰ gold finish. The thickness of the deposited gold is 3 microns, in accordance with French legislation. All of our gold-plated jewellery is, of course, hallmarked, as a guarantee of their quality. You will find these hallmarks discreetly stamped on the back of the charms, inside of the pendants, or on the clasps of our chains. A safe material that will be enhanced by the personalised engraving of your choice.

750‰ Rose Gold Plating

Our range of rose gold-plated jewellery is made from a brass base covered with 750‰ gold, corresponding to 18 karats. In accordance with French legislation, the thickness of the gold deposited on our rose gold-plated jewellery is 3 microns, or 3 thousandths of a millimeter. Just like our silver and gold-plated jewellery, our rose gold-plated jewellery is hallmarked to guarantee its quality. Depending on the shape of your jewellery, these hallmarks are located on the back of the charms, inside the pendants, or on the clasps of our chains. Rose gold plating is the ideal metal to enhance all skin tones.

316 L Steel

At HappyBulle, in accordance with European standards, all our steel jewellery is made of grade 316L stainless steel. This is a hypoallergenic steel known as "surgical steel" that guarantees you a shine and a high resistance. Whether combined with leather, aluminium, coloured beads, or Liberty fabric, steel looks great with all our designs... Try it out for yourself!

Acrylic

Designed and manufactured in our small workshop from rigid transparent or reflective coloured acrylic, the Acrylic range of jewellery asserts its design with strength! Whether round or square, star-shaped or cloud-shaped, our acrylic charms are stunning in their originality and design. We can even adapt the shape of your charm to that of your drawing... More than that, it is an ultra-resistant material that has all the advantages of glass in terms of shine and brilliance, while being unbreakable and very light: it is the perfect compromise. It reveals a beautiful white colour when engraved, which contrasts sharply on the skin or clothing, for an amazing result!

Bamboo

Bamboo is the raw material for all our creations in our Wooden range. If we chose bamboo for our charms, it is first and foremost for its aesthetic qualities: its caramel colour gives our jewellery a beautiful natural colour, and its very tight grain offers a magnificent shine. Engraving darkens the wood and creates a beautiful mix of colours. We also turned to bamboo for its ecological properties, as it is the only type of wood with a positive ecological balance despite its exploitation outside our borders. Rich in silica, bamboo also has the advantage of being very hard and resistant to water, humidity, and heat, making our charms both stylish and robust. Try it out for yourself!
