The bangle bracelet (in silver, gold-plated or stainless steel) is a rigid, closed bracelet. As such, it does not open and is slipped on over the hand. Its size is therefore different from that of a bracelet with a clasp, which is adjusted to fit the wrist as closely as possible.
Your bangle bracelet is the right size when your hand passes through the bangle with a slight resistance: this ensures that you don't lose your bracelet.
Note that the hand is wider than the wrist, so it's the length of your hand that you need to know in order to choose the size of your bangle!
You've never worn a solid closed bangle and don't know what size to choose? Don't worry: simply use a tape measure to check your hand size!
Here are a few tips on how to take this measurement and determine your size:
Hand size | Bangle size (inside diameter) |
---|---|
Maximum 17 cm | 54 mm : child |
Maximum 19,5 cm | 62 mm : adult, slim to medium wrist |
Maximum 20,7 cm | 66 mm : adulte, medium to large wrist |
